what online custom pc retailers are reliable?

I am kind of in a delemma, i am not sure from what online custom pc retalier to buy from. I was looking at Ibuypower.com, cyberpowerinc.com, and digitalstormonline.com. From what I have seen ibuypower and cyberpower, I can get a cheaper priced computer with better power but not with all the little nic nacks like making sure the wires are set-up nice and tucked away and etc that digital storm provides. What is your suggestion because I really need it. Am open to any suggestions as long as it helps:)

i have heard that Alien Ware is a reputable company...i would assume they would organize the cables and wires too.

I've already picked out my parts from new egg...and over the next 8-10 months I'm going to upgrade my pc from this

3.0ghz P4 800mb FSB
1.0gb DDR2 PC 3200 ram
250gb 7.2k SATA
ATI 256 mb graphics card.


To this.
3.0ghz P4
3.0 gb DDR2 PC3200 ram
2x WD Raptor 10k RPM drives on a RAID 0 configuration
2x 250 gb 7.2k SATA
Nvidia Geforce 7800 gt

Eventually I want to buy another motherboard, and get a dual core processor.

I really wanted to go to AMD, but I would have had to buy new ram because AMD only supports DDR right now, which would mean I would have to buy more componants before I could begin installing them (PRC, MB and Ram) If I stick with intel I can upgrade my PC $100 at a time which makes things easier on my budget.

I've never modded a case before and I really dont feel like trying, but what do you guys think about this pre-built case.

I'm going to go with NewEgg as well. I just received my $2000 purchase [new comp parts], and it arrived within 24 hours, on free shipping. Wheee.

And regarding AlienWare, I would advice highly against them. If you look at each part and add them up, they are ripping you off for almost double what the PC is worth. People will pay insane amounts for that little alien icon on their computers, it's insane.

Any PC retailer selling you a whole PC will rip you off, it's much cheaper to build it yourself + you can get the exact specs you want. :)

Although I suppose if you don't know what you're doing and don't want to learn, it's probably best to buy it pre-built.

Ibuypower.com, and get professional wiring. I ordered my PC last March, had it at my doorstep in about 7 business days. Haven't had a problem with the computer since I got it, either.

If you have even the slightest clue how to build your own PC, or if you don't, take the time to read/learn how...then Newegg is hands-down where you wanna go....
