Well, for the price, I'd go for the 7800gt but, I do like the x1800's (the xt) but the 7800gt is so cheap you can pick one up for 350 and its a amazing card.

There havn't even been any benchmarks on crossfire yet. So nobody here can say that 2x7800GTs outperforms 2xX1800XLs, the only thing that i can think of that would make yu say that is that sli can go at higher resolutions than just 1920x1280 (or something like that) but most monitors are only 1280x1024, so it doesn't matter to most people.

It's 1600x1200 the max for crossfire. Most people go dual cards to run extreme resolutions, so that totaly kills crossfire.

ive never played over 1600x1200 ever i just dont see the difference over
1280x960

who the hell plays over those res anyway hardly any games or monitors support higher than 1600x1200

Well, oh well, my monitor is at 1280x1024, and how do you get a monitor with like 2048x1768, what kinda monitor is that. Cause that's how high my vid card supports.

WOw, that's cool, but it wouldn't get as good response times, plus it is probably gonna be uber expenssive.

Y do you waste 2000$ for a 23inch screen with 8ms when you get a nice projector for 999$ and play BF2 like if you were in the cinema.....i did that at school it was awsome!
