    X1800XL vs .7800GT

Ok, as some of the smarter hardware anylists know, the top selling high end next gen cards are probably going to be the best sellers. THe obvious reason is that they can run all games at max settings, but they are still cheaper than the flagship models. Examples: 9800Pro was more popular than 9800XT, 6800GT>6800 Ultra in sales, and X800XL>X850XTPE in sales as well. SO i wana know what you think is the better card. I would say X1800XL ONLY BECAUSE (that means don't flame me or ask me why i picked ATi's card) i play more Direct 3D games, which generally do better with ATi. So, what's ur take on this.?

I cant really compare. All I can say is that, without overclocking the card, I can run any game that I have thrown at it at all high so far. Good card.

the 7800gt generally performs slightly better than the x1800xl

other than on bf2 benchmarks where the role is reversed

U must mean GEforce, the Nforce is their motherboards.

Yeah, sorry, i blanked out or something on that. So yeah, geforce 7800GT.

EDIT: Oh, and thanks for correcting me. If only i could edit the poll names to make it geforce instead of nforce.

                          no harm done.
Anyway, i would go for the geforce.
