what kind of Hard drive do you recommend?

For the fastest performance, I'd get two Raptors (74 GB, [link here]) and run them in RAID0. Two Raptors can be expensive though, so if you're on a budget go for one of them. It's the only S-ATA drive with a spindle speed of 10.000RPM.

Cool man, I've yet to experience BF2 in surround. my PC space is limiting me to 2.1 still. I use the Sennheiser PC165 for BF2. I'm a nut for headsets.

Meh, I have two raptors and they aren't that great. I would say go with two 80GB SATA2 drives and you should be alright.

Yea I think Raptor's are a little overrated, but if you don't mind spending the money go for it.

The system you have planned out is really good, but I'll go with what everyone else is saying, get the X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS.

Well hey the ABIT Falal1ty already has a 7.1 surrond sound card that comes with the mobo. But if I were you Id get the ASUS AN8 SLI DELUXE it is a nicer mobo and more user friendly. Id go with DDR500/PC4000 RAM sticks probably Crucial Ballistik versions. Definitally go wit the FX 57 it out performes the dual cores in Benchmarks for gaming! And i would get the BFG nVidia 7800 vga cards the ones with the OC after the Ultra or GT because they are PRE Overclocked! ANd under warranty cost big $ but if you want the best your gonna pay for it. HA that is gonna be one hell of a gamers rig

Oh yeah I forgot, don't get the XFX 7800 GTX, get the BFG w/ Water Cooling that is OCed to 490/1300...it will perform better than the XFX even though they have the same clock speeds.

Make sure you get low latency ram if you do get the FX57. All Athlon64's really thrive with low latency ram.
