Ya, i've heard good things about the XL, only problem is that they are both fairly expensive still. This video card is probally going to be my last upgrade on the system, I want to build a PCI-e (and AMD) system for my new comp, so i think i should probably invest in that video card, and just get a 6800 or a 6600 GT. Any opinions?

x1600 won't be AGP will it? Just wait till you upgrade to PCI-e and get a X1600.

ya but i want to upgrade my video card a little before i upgrade to PCI-e (my system is fairly new) i think i can get a few more years out of it

Yeah, new line of cards doesn't have PCI-e. Anyways, the X1600Pro would kick the 6800s butt anyday.

i just bought a 7800GT, hope it performs well I can run BF2 in full settings but cannot film with Fraps so i was just wondering if il be able to film with the 7800GT (and the rest of my PC)

Should be able to. Remember FRAPs limits you to 30FPS so, it will slow the gameplay down. Thus EA has battle recorder :)

Alright, how about the x800 Pro? I found a refurb on ATI's website in my price range. It seems better (has 256mb GDDR3 memory), same nuber of pixel piplines. However it doens't have shader 3.0 support, and Ati doensn't have the best drivers. I proforms better than the 6800 (which is what i would buy if i didn't get this one). Am i going to regret not getting the 6800? Or should i go with the x800 Pro. I am mostly going to be playing bf2, but i don't care if nvidia proforms better by 3fps.
