9800 Pro users, could you please post your Video Settings.

Im just wondering what everyone else uses with 9800 pro.
Im using all High, Lightning Low and Dynamic things Off. 100% View distance and no AA because it gives me flickering road textures.

Also is a 6600 nVidia about the equivalent of the 9800 pro?

All medium except for dyna. shadows and dyna. light which are off, 4x AA, 100% view distance, 1024x768 75hz runs nice reasonably smooth (comp blows!)

4x AA!! I only dream of that!! I must try it, my computer is a bit stronger then yours, 3 GHZ but same ram.

      What drivers do you use??

When I had my 9800pro I played on high/med with aax4 Now I play on high and it's kind of the same thing unless you stand still and look at textures.

I know for a fact that my good old 9800 (not XT, not PRO, just regular 9800) can handle high, but I play with everything on low (except look distance) so it wont stutter at crucial times.

After I got my Dell 20 inch 2001fp i had to put it on 1600x1200 and put medium settings with shadows, lights, geometry on low with no AA or AF.

with my 19" CRT i played on 1280x960 with all medium settings with 2x AA and i got good frame rates but the scaling on my LCD sucks if i dont put it on the native resolution of 1600x1200.

On my 9800 Pro I have my Settings on Medium with a few on Low. 0xAA.
I prefer things to run smooth at all times than the game looking better but a chance of getting quite laggy in busy situations.

I run dynamic shadows off, all else med w/ no AA. 1280x960 res. Sound is high/HW/EAX. Only slows down much if I'm right in the middle of a big explosion, but at that point I'm usually dead anyway.

                    I have a 9800XT, overclocked to 450/378MHz, running on a Athlon XP Mobile @ 2500MHz.

                    Resolution: 1600x1200@120Hz
                    Terrain: Low
                    Effects: Medium
                    Geometry: High
                    Texture: Medium
                    Lighting: Medium
                    Dynamic Shadows: Off
                    Dynamic Light: Medium
                    AA: Off
                    Texture Filter: Medium
                    View Distance: 100% (of course)

Lags up a bit with lots of explosions and the shell shock effect at 1600x1200, I get decent frame rates at all other times however. I prefer high resolution and lowered details.

120 Hz? I thought anything over 90 is like invisble to the human eye lol?

yea very smooth. I use old Dell Drivers provided with my computer.
Im using the 128mb 9800 pro not the 256 one.

After the patch though, I get lag during explosions for a very brief time. Other than that, it rarely lags.

Im actually very satisfied. I dont use cooling or anything. I always make sure to turn off everything before going into BF2 though.
