On my 9800 Pro I have my Settings on Medium with a few on Low. 0xAA.
I prefer things to run smooth at all times than the game looking better but a chance of getting quite laggy in busy situations.

I think it's amazing how well you can run that game with such little settings, I guess my setup will run quite smoothly:

1 gig pc 3200
celeron 2.6ghz
6600gt

A 9800 pro to my knowledge would be about the same as a 6600 non GT.

I got a 9800 Pro, but flashed to a 9800 XT and running at XT speeds. I got 1GB of PC2700 RAM and a 2800+ (Barton core).

Resolution: 1280x1024@70Hz
Terrain: Medium
Effects: High
Geometry: High
Texture: Medium
Lighting: Low
Dynamic Shadows: Off
Dynamic Ligh: Off
Anti-Aliasing: 2x
Texture Filtering: Medium
View Distance Scale: 100%

In Battlefield 2 I get an average of 35-60 FPS (when playing online with a descent amount of people in a busy area).

In Battlefield 2 Special Forces I get an average of 25-40 FPS (when playing online with a descent amount of people in a busy area).
