Page 43 has what you are looking for. You need to change the CPU Frequency to 166 from 100. After doing that hit F10 and Yes to save the change. If for some reason the computer will not reboot at the new seeting, look at page 9. This shows you where the clear CMOS jumper is. All you need to do is make sure the computer is turned off and unplugged. Then just pull the jumper from pins 1 and 2, and put it on pins 2 and 3 for a few seconds, then put it back.
About the only reason that the comptuer won't boot at the new settings is if your ram is PC2100/266 mhz.
AMD uses 2500+ as a comparision in performance to Intel. BUT their clock speeds are actually LOWER.
AMD has a much better architecture and memory management, which allows them to get better performance out of slower chip speeds. This is a huge benefit when it comes to heat, because Intel's P4 series runs approx. 20*C hotter.
Tweak just called me...he said his computer made a beep sound on reboot and he smelt smoke....he tried to pwr on again...but nothing...so I guess it's time to buy a new comp...
