I live across the pond but I can recommend that you grab a major name brand. Check this out - I am running an older Enermax 350W PSU on a moderately high-end system with a zillion fans and lights on. The reason I can do this and remain stable and within the +/- 5% variance is because I have 26 amps on my single +12 volt rail.

Come to think of it, I would imagine the core would be clocked down rather than the RAM. I guess you were just a bit unlucky and found one of those 900Mhz ones.

Death Merchant-you mentioned you wanted a UK site link? I reccommend overclockers.co.uk. Very good, I've used them before, and you can pick up some great bargins.

I myself would go for the Seasonic S12 600 http://www.dabs.com/ProductView.aspx?Quicklinx=3VJN&v=2
which would surfice for any other major upgrades in the near future. Not cheap though!!!!!!!

I've used overclockers before good retailers recommended.

I use Hiper 425s with my XFX 6800gt had no problems at all, but I run the GC on its own, no drives etc along with it

Many video cards run at lower clock speeds until you are in game. Then they step it up. You could DL "coolbits 2" to allow you to set it manually, but unless you're unhappy with performance, I wouldn't mess with it.

I have the XFX 6800GT and run all high settings with 4x AA
