Well the minimum requirement for a 7800GT is a PSU with 500W and 34A on the 12v rail. Your PSU has 500w but only 22A on the 12v rail. Now realisticly you don't need a new PSU, I know that 34A would be enough for an SLi system. You should run a 7800GT fine with that PSU.... but again it also depends on how good it is, since your psu is not of any good brand. -

The watts don't matter, it's all about the Amps. Look at PC Power and Cooling, it has a 510W PSU that is better than any other PSU out there. Even the 600w+ ones. Quality over quantity.Comment
