Yeah, I blame the mobo, and I've been thinking about getting an asus a8n32 mobo soon.

hmm, your mobo seems pretty good I dont see whats wrong with it, but yeah, the A8n 32 rocks!

Sir. Matdef, what driver set are you using? It looks like 3DMark doesn't detect that you have SLI setup, so your score is based on one card only! We both have SLi setups with the same cards, yet I got more than 1000 higher scores in both SM tests..

3DMark06 doesn't have a profile for the 82.65 drivers, are you using them? Try reverting back to 81.98; I had the exact same problem as you, and that helped for me :)

yeah, also: make sure the SLi switch on your motherboard is switched to SLi. I know that I think the new drivers do that automatically for you, but just make sure it is switched JUST INCASE. That is one major problem a lot of people mess up on.

Nope, still using 81.98, I'll try disabling sli and running 3dmark again to see if thats the problem.

had an old X850 XT lying around and sold my X1800 and oila... X1900 it was so worth it, FEAR, BF2, COD2 all run SOOOO much better (3x the XL's FPS in cod2)

this guy with a fx 60 at 3ghz and GTX's broke 10k dayum.

also: I heard that once someone breaks 11k, they develope a new 3dmark. When the 7800 broke 11k on 3dmark05, it took them 6months to make another. this guy ^ is close.

Crossfired X1900 XT's get around 9k running stock with that same processor at 3Ghz. I'm waiting for some overclocked results.
