I'd be happy to get anything above 800 in 06.

its not that you did bad... its just that everyone else who did it had an 8800 something or other.
its not a measure of your computer, its a measure of the computer against all of the other ones in the world

yea i knowt did a little overclocking on my GPU and got a 4340

Edit* I also have a question, would it be better to run my current 3 Gb of ram or run only 2 Gb in Dual channel?

depends are they all the same clock speed?

if not get rid of the slowest one that will help as it will be slowing the others to that speed.

if your using XP 3gb wont make a diff direct x 9 only sees 2gb so if the ram isnt all the same take out the worst stick.

if its vista then i hosnetly dont think it will matter as long as there all the same speed.

oh and if you want to know the clock speed there is usually a sticker on the stick that says it. if not i think a program called everest should tell you(been a while since ive used it so dont qoute me on that).

                        hope this helps

My highest at main clocks is 12k. Highest with max OCs is 15k. But I wouldn't run at those clocks for longer than a few minutes for fear of utter failure.
