You need to specify what version of 3dMark you are using. 01, 03, 05, 05 06.

3DMark 03 - 8200 or so.

I haven't run 06, but I'm hoping at least 3k.

Specs: P4 3.0GHz w/HT, 3Gb RAM, 800MHz FSB, AOpen 6600GT (I know), SB Live! Platinum 5.1 (old school), 200Gb SATA HD.

Which is the reason why we have video cards and GPUs. They are designed to process graphics.
