Yeah, i use a microsoft optical mouse 2.0, i still own people, plus, you only need precision pointing for sniping, and sniping sux in BF2, why didn't they just incorporate breathing, but it shoots where you aim, like BF1942, or America's Army.

For me the G5 isnt an option. Logitech removed one of the thumb buttons, there is only one now. Stupid imo. (I use them for crouch/prone)

My mx510 is starting to have cord issues, so I need to purchase soon. I will either get an mx518 or the Razor Copperhead.

The mx510 works well enough for me, so the 518 should be perfect. The copperhead looks interesting, but its very expensive imo.

I have the mx510 and it was a huge improvement over my ball mouse. Just don't get a wireless mouse, they suck for gaming.

I have the mx510 and it was a huge improvement over my ball mouse. Just don't get a wireless mouse, they suck for gaming.

I trialed one and it rules i RECOMMEND it, its responsive quick and very comfotable.

Shame i dont have the money to buy (well i do just want upgrade other components).

But as some people have said it doesnt make u a better gamer. I use a mouse that cost me £5 but it does its job......
