    This one i know is fake, it says it has 2000mhz fsb speed. BUt that means the clock speed, cause i know my 3200+ is 2ghz stock, so that one is outrageous. No, wait, all the Socket 939 processors on tiger direct say 2000mhz FSB speed as well, it's kinda crazy. And on newegg.com all the socket 939 processors said 1ghz aswell. And are you sure that the memory speed is the FSB speed, cause i'm pretty sure they're quite different.

    EDIT: and the new processors, i dunno, maybe it's just the new venice cores. Well, wait, the Winchesters also say they have 1ghz FSB speed on newegg.com as well, the Venice cores are new. and BTW, on the link you provided, it said nothing about 200mhz FSB speed, but it did provid other stuff like core clock frequency (speed) and Cache size, but it does say for the little mini-comparison between the 3000+ and more powerful Athlon 64 models that their bus speed (not clock speed) was 2000mhz.

      The FSB, or rather "Hypertransport System Bus" on the socket 939 CPUs is 1000 MHz bi-directional (1000MHz each way) which translated into "marketing figures" equals 2000 MHz. This is the same way a 100/200/266 MHz "Quad-Pumped" P4 bus translates to "marketing figure" of 400/800/1066 MHz FSB.

      On your socket 754/939 motherboard, you can change the Hypertransport multiplier in the BIOS (it multiplies the 200MHz clock generator by 5 to get the 1000MHz HTSB). Try changing it down from 5x to 4x, 3x, 2x, 1x and see the difference it makes - bugger all. Merlin is right when he says "AMD's [Athlon 64's] do not beifit from increasing the FSB, but instead benifit from agressive ram timings."
      The socket 754 CPU's have a 1600MHz HTSB. It makes very little difference to their performance.

        All I know is that my Athlon 64 3000+ Venice has an FSB of 1GHz (currently it is set to 600MHz as I am in overclocking mode )
