Either go X800XL 256mb and save a ton of money to buy something nice like a gig of ram.

I voted X850XT coz I have one myself and its great, but if you have only one gig of mem, Eddy's idea might be not so bad.

850 is higher than 800, thus logicaly speakin, 850 is far more better

850 more speed. Since there isnt a game out there that requires a 512mb video card its pointless and not worth buying. And a waste of money.

actually i would change my oppinion but not my vote. If you can afford it, get the highest technology you can, and it will last longer. If your not a hardcor3 ati fan, thenthe 7800gtx(a sh1tload of money[more then a hooker costs]) may be the way to go.
