I just noticed something... I run DDR2 RAM, but my video card is 256 MB DDR3. Could this cause a compatibility issue? Somebody also told me that your video card speed has to sync with your RAM and motherboard speed, is there any truth in that? Either way I think I'm just going to switch to the X800 XL or the 6800 GT and see if I can avoid this problem, thought I would probably be better going to the 6800GT just in case its a compatibility with ATI problem.

Nope, Nope, and nope. I have no compatibility issues with my X800XL, but the 6800GT is a fine card also. You'll probably do good with either one. I'm sorry the cooling wasn't the issue. Sounds like the card's just on it's way out. Try running 3Dmark05 for a few hours and see if it craps out on you. It may, although I doubt it, be BF2.

I think I know what the problem is now. My Dell only has a 230 watt power supply. How do I get a more powerful one? on the phone with dell and they said the biggest upgrade I could get was to 310W which i doubt is powerful enough.

Also, Newegg.com. They have a great assortment of pwr supplies. 350-400w with atleast 20amps on the 12volt rail will get you going. If you need help PM me and I'll post some links for ya.
