Yes a very BIG difference! PCI-Express is not compatible with PCI as the slot is different in the amount of connectors.

Not scolding. If you want to learn you can always ask me. I'm almost always willing to take 5 minutes of my time to explain things. But remember basic things > advanced things. The advanced things will come in time, such as CAS timings on RAM, etc.

well, PCI express is a bit less expensive than AGP cards, but not really any dif on the differences in performance.. No Video card out can even fill the bandwidth capable oe from and AGP 8X slot.. Until cards can, no use in really gettin PCI X.. besides bein a bit cheaper.
BF2 doesnt say my X800XL is compatible w/ the game but STill works great. Just get latest drivers from ATI..

It isn't nessecairly the bandwidth that is important, its the architecture as well. Generally speaking the PCI-E card will have better performance then an AGP card with the same clock speeds, because the architecture is much better.
