Some people blamed Flash shockwave, so i disabled it in plug-ins as suggested currently awaiting to see any differences.

Want me to be honest? I've had this for a long time too. lock ups and freezes, lock ups and freezes. Usually ctrl-alt-delete my way out of the browser and open again. I just can't use chrome, I'm too used to my plugins to leave firefox, I have a very self-custom browsing

It's Flash. It's not Firefox itself, just Flash. And you want to know why Chrome is not experiencing it as well? Because Google integrates Flash into the browser without having to use the Flash add-on like IE and Firefox do. They also have Flash running in a separate container so that when/if it crashes (and it will), it won't bring down the entire browser like it does in IE/Firefox.

Flash has been notoriously crap for the past few months now in their recent updates and there isn't a single person I know that it hasn't had an impact on in terms of constant crashing and lockups.

Well it's good to know that it's not just me. I probably have a 50% of Flash hanging upon viewing the first Youtube video of a session. I have to open the task manager and kill the process, then refresh the page for it to work. Guess I should switch to Chrome.
