That's why I got it. Thanks, VoraciousBear. I wouldn't have even thought of this one if you hadn't mentioned it.
I do have to mention that it wasn't quite as simple to install on my mobo as you would think. First off, the hoses are REALLY stiff. So getting it arranged in my case was a pain. Also, the included backplate was obstructed by a clip holding a little heatsink in place above the CPU socket. I don't know what it's for, but it's there. Since the H50 can be placed on a large variety of sockets, there are extra holes on the backplate to accomodate different sockets.
So I had to use the backplate from my Zalman cooler. It's working just fine. I used the H50 backplate to stick the Zalman in my wife's dual-core system. She had a reference Intel cooler, so everyone wins now.
