my build sheet says, i think. i only have a 425W power supply..... ****. well im getting a new card today. and now idk what ima do... since a 9800 needs 500. i might try an ATi 48xx or 5xxx

You might just be able to, if you dont play on large resolutions

remember a 9800gt isnt faster than a 8800gtx - its actually about 10% slower, if you want an upgrade the minimum is a 4890 or a GTX 260


edit: this would be a better buy if you want to stay within that budjet, it has the full 128 sp other than 112 on the 9800gt

yeah ive decided on a GTS 250. these specs. would it be better than my HD 4650, or 8800GTX?

Well the 9800GTX is maybe 5-10% faster than the 8800GTX, and the same as a GTS 250 so you should be happy with that

yeah i wish they would just discontinue a line. and make each number a step up. insted of 8932478475GT and 84324576GTX jus make it 33332 and 33333
