i originally just had one 8800 GT for a bout a year and a half, started to stress with some new games so i got another one and turned SLI on, its been three years since i got the system and the first card barly breaks a sweat, the fans stay at normal speed iv only heard it increase once because i was doiong folding in the background. There is nowt wrong with Nvidia.

My 4/5 year old 6800 is still going absolutely fine. 8600GT I have now has lasted exactly a year and a half with zilch problems (running some games at 1680x1050). All I hear from my Friend with a 4890x2 is that he has to run most games in windowed or the card insta overheats and restarts his pc...

There is nothing wrong with Nvid, its your Rig.

I know for a fact that its not my rig and its the card. My 8600 died after half a year, the screen went all colorful and just froze, that has to be a graphics card problem because once I got the 8400, it worked again. Now I know nothing is wrong with my rig and this 8400 is crap to, whenever I go in the nvidia control panel I can see that in the preview for image quality settings theres all these flashing pixels and colors, so it has to be the video card, not my rig.

But if GPU's are repeatedly dying in your rig that is not normal and there must be some underlying cause of it.
