have a look for Nvidia 8800gt (exacly the same as the 9800 just re-badged) Nvidia GTS 240 (again re-badged 9800)

on the ATI side look for

the 4770 and 4850 series

these a similar speeds to the 9800gt, maybe slighly faster, are in a similar price range....probably

The 8800GT has been discontinued. I'd be surprised if you could find it.

Although the latest/greatest Nvidia mobile card is basically a 8800GT repackaged for laptops, but that's beside the point.

9800GTs (rebranded 8800GT) are still being sold, they're about $80-100.

So how would I put in this graphics card? I think I would have to bring to the computer shop near me. I don't know how to put in a power supply.

both are pretty self explanatory. Graphics cards just pop into a slot on the motherboard. Power supplys just screw into your case. There's not much else to it.....fact most probably come with instruction booklets explaining how to install both.

I need a video card that can hook up to my LG HDTV which has a HDMI port and VGA port I think it is, it says RGB over it but looks like a VGA.

I also saw this card, what does it mean by HDTV 1080p support? I saw that none of the other cards had that.

they make dvi to hdmi cables that will work on those dual dvi output nvidia cards.

RGB btw is component video....shouldn't look anything at all like a vga input

but they also make cables that will take you from vga to component.

As for 1080p support, should mean that it will output at 1080p....
