I got Home Premium because looking at the comparison chart I saw no reason to spend more on the other features included in Pro and ultimate tbh

As someone with a dual-boot for XP, I just went with Home Premium. Virtual XP seems more like it's for productivity software. I don't work at home, just game and watch movies. If a game doesn't like Win7, I just boot into XP. It only takes about a minute, usually.

I've been on RC1 for some months now if that counts. I'll be upgrading to the full if/when I can find it for cheap or free (legally).

I downloaded the RC. But never installed it. But I will have to wait for the same cheap or free (legally) as you. Damn divorce! How long would the RC last? Would it be worth it to install the RC this late in the game?

RC lasts until March, then it will shut off after two hours. It will stop working completely in June I believe.
