Just a heads up but 3 has pretty awful signal coverage, they are notorious for it and it's why their deals are so good oh and don't trust what the guys in shop or their service checker on their website says. It tends to be BS.

I'm with O2, whilst more expensive it's much better to have a phone you can use pretty much anywhere than an awesome package that you can't really use.

That's not true. It used to be, but not anymore. 3 piggyback on another networks standard service, I think it may actually be O2/BT Cellnet.

I get coverage pretty much everywhere.

Well, when I landed and walked out of Bir. Itl. Airport, the temp reading was like 7 degrees.

Which is pretty cold.

But I've been to colder, naturally. But it was... odd.

I would suggest waiting for Vodafone and Orange to get the iPhone..but you cant really....since you need it now...Vodafone will be getting it early next year and Orange later on this year...

The Tesco (O2 network) mobile deal seems pretty good, £30 a month for up to £500 a month use.
