Trouble Accessing TGN Site

Hey guys, could you try and help me out with something please?

Recently, I have been having trouble connecting with TGN, it happens all over the site, not on any pages in particular. And it has been happening regularly, yet, only recently.
I will click on a link to a thread, and it will say "Connecting to www.totalgamingnetwork.com" at the bottom, but it will not load, and then this is followed by this error message:



I spoke to CaptainKirk about this, and he told me to do a tracert, so I did this and got the following result:

Basically, what I need to know is, how do I fix this?

Tim recently updated a few firewall rules, but they should be ironed out by now. How frequently does this happen? Certain times of the day?

It's happening all the time, regularly. It's doing it now..I have to copy my comments because a lot of the time when I press 'Post Reply' it will timeout then, so I have to press back, and re-post my comment. I had to do it for this one.

Your timing out @ L3 in TX. Best thing would be to contact your ISP, do it to MyInternetServices.com (The tracert) also. Your ISP would have more of a powerful hand with L3. Along with that timing out before you leave the UK / Your ISP network and they seem to peer with L3.

Yeah by the looks of things from the tracer its nothing to do with your actual computer so there isnt a lot of things you can do other than what Dan has mentioned.

Strange thing im on virgin and the site works fine for me but when i run a tracer route (on my macbook atm) it does a similar thing :/

Try cleaning out all your cookies and saved files etc, when im having trouble connecting to a site that sometimes helps.

@B1scu1T That might be the firewall ignoring the ping request, but as you can see you don't time out on anything bar the firewall.

It's nothing to do with my Cookies, Temp Files etc. I have CCleaner, and I run it whenever I close Firefox, so it clears everything..

The time out @ 17 looks OK, as you can see from that one you don't time out anywhere else, even while still in the UK. Have you called your ISP?

Hm, I kept forgetting to contact Virgin, and now I havn't had the problem all day. Ran a tracert, and got only one time out, which you said was normal Dan. So i'm guessing I was just having trouble for time, and it's ironed out the creases by itself..
