nvlddmkm error - Anyone have a fix?

Its starting to annoy me now :).

Every now and then and error occurs telling me that my display driver has stopped responding, it then goes on to tell me that has nvlddmkm stopped responding.

I thought I fixed it some time ago, but its back with vengeance. Now its occuring on most games.

Anyone here have an idea on what exactly is causing it and maybe have a fix!

Is this a bsod error or just a pop up window error.

If you know of a driverset that didn't have this problem, roll back to those.

I have fortunately not run into that issue for probably a good year+ now.

Just the popup recently, although I have experienced the BSOD with it, these days I either try and restart the pc through the start menu as the screen flicks on and off, or hit the restart button the tower.

If you know of a driverset that didn't have this problem, roll back to those.

I have fortunately not run into that issue for probably a good year+ now.

It was a few months back where it appeared to be running without this error, can't really remeber which drivers iw as using .

Unfortunately, until Nvidia recognizes this error as an actual problem, nothing will be done to combat it. Nvidia blames it on other hardware in your system, but even experts agree the problem is too widespread to blame on other hardware.

There is no fix to it other than to keep trying drivers til you find a set that works.
