    Will a Pentium 4 3.0Ghz bottleneck a 9800GT 1gb?

          A salesmen told me a apg card can go into PCIe x16. they are backwards compatible:thumbsup:

            I don't understand where they get those people. I suspect anyone with an idea about computers and a bit of skill go into higher end jobs where as tech support people are plucked straight from some half arse hardware training degree...

              But you don't even need a hardware training degree to know that an AGP card isn't compatible with PCIE lol

                Some people fall for it. Look at geek squad they charge you a arm and leg to do the littlest thing..



                $129 to install a AV that's crazy..

                    Yeah Australia isn't the best for PC tech support, it seems they follow the same enrollement conduct as McDonalds.

                        With the os install for $249, I would be VERY tempted to shove a copy of FreeBSD and an XBOX at them. Muwahahaha.
