        G31s can overclock okay, obviously it won't be as good as a P35/45, but it's good for the price.

          Some of them dont have voltage, ram ratio or multiplier optins in their bios though

            Yeh temp board...Still need to figure out if DFI P45 is actually broken or if its my memory...Anywho sorry for theradjack but yeh if you want a G31 they are perfectly fine for a budget build...

                      Hi guys thank you again for all the help.The reason I want to build my own system,so I can overclock.I dont want to sound stupid but if you can explain the difference between those motherboards.And suggest a decent one I can use for overclocking.

                        For overclocking, definitely a P43 or P45 then. You won't get too far with a G31.
