  • Should i?

So yes, the question is should i upgrade to Windows vista64 bit?

I have got a 64bit processor, according to Tune up Utilities 2008.

And is this for free? Call me blind but i have not seen a price tag on this.

Also many sites recommend 4gb or more ram, currently i have got 3gb of ram, so should i actually get some more. I have 2 slots on my mother board so if i do, I'm going to need something like 2x2gb.

So is 64bit actually worth it?

    Thanks Shiftydood

No, but it's not that big apparently:

If you really want 4 GB RAM sure. But it's not free, and there's no real reason to upgrade unless you have games/programs that run better in 64-bit or you want to be future proof.

Yea, 64-bit is good but someone had to say it

Is this cheap or can the price go down elsewhere?

Don't get electronics off ebay. If they go wrong, you won't get a refund or RMA.

If you want to upgrade to 4 gigs now go for it, but also understand that windows 7 will be released in 09/early 2010
