Gunfire I told you over Xfire I hate the idea of laptop as gaming computers, I would only consider having a gaming laptop if I was traveling a lot, but I'm not. You don't need to spend $1500 like I did to have a good computer I thin $800 will make a great computer.
I don't know I always buy a PSU which gives me the ability to upgrade in the future Like I'm running a q9300 and a HD4870 on a 1000wat PSU, and I'm planing on Crosfireing it with another HD4870x2 in the future.
i made that list in like 5 minutes, so maybe I didn't put in much thought into it. When i was building my PC I sat for a week reading reviews, tech forums, and looked prices.
Don't know about the mobo, but you might want to get a stronger PSU, I have the VX450, and while it's not a bad PSU by any means, you'll be able to keep your longer if you get a VX550 or something.
And the E5200 is a sexy CPU. Probably my next upgrade unless if the E7200 is still cheap at Microcenter. :)

The VX450 isn't modular. You'd have to buy the HX series if you want a modular PSU from Corsair. (or did I misunderstand you and you just want to switch out parts one by one?)
As for the HD, it's only $10, don't regret it in the future.
My plans are to save a little more and get a Aftermarket cooler for OC'ing and get another 2GB ram as I have the OS, and Maybe mod the case to have a nice plexiglass window.
