Well guys I find myself PC gaming less and less and am thinkin' of selling my rig, I know its not all that great but it has done me well for 2 1/2 years with a couple upgrades. So now to buisness how much do yall think I could get for this?

Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ @ 2.2GHz
2 x 1GB Corsair Value Select DDR
2 x 512mb Nanya DDR
XFX GeForce 8600GT XXX Overclock Edition
Diamond Xtreme 7.1 Sound Card (Absolutely Amazing IMO)
Coolmaster 550w Modded PSU
1x DVD Burner
1x CD Burner

And taking the place of this would be this: HP Pavilion
I thought this to be good enough to play BF2, if any other thoughts on a Laptop feel free to tell me, and im looking to Spend $600-$700 if possible on a Laptop.

Not sure how much you could get for it. Maybe try putting it on Ebay with a reserve price of how much you expect to get. If it doesn't meet the reserve price by the end of the auction, it doesn't sell and you'll have a better idea of how much it's worth (though maybe not accurate).

I'd pay ~$350 for that. $400 tops.

As for that laptop, it has integrated graphics. I'm pretty sure BF2 won't run on integrated graphics. But I don't think you need a fancy gaming computer to play BF2 either. For example my two year old IBM/Lenovo with an Radeon Mobility X1400 plays BF2 on low settings with good framerates. (30+) I don't have any suggestions though. To a certain extent, (IMO) all budget laptops are the same. Just look around.

If you want a gaming laptop, make sure it has a good gfx card (many mobile versions of popular cards have less memory than their desktop counterparts, check it up)

But for BF2, most cards will do the job.

I'd doubt someone willing to pay for a computer with an 8600GT will care about 7.1 sound, I'd sell the sound card separately as long as the mobo has onboard sound.

Sound cards can be sold rather expensive, especially if it's 7.1 which you have there.

The fact its running on a 2 year old laptop makes it better than most other 2 year old laptops.

So I was looking on Ebay and so far its looking like I can get about 40-50 dollars for my sound card, And putting my rig up for about $400-$450?

Well, if i were you i would sell it mostly part by part. Then sell the Case+PSU+HD as a bundle and sell the sound and gfx card separately.

How is the PSU modded?

If you've modified the electrics, don't sell it because if it electrocutes someone, you can be held liable as your mod hasn't past officially safety guidelines.

I would say $400 and keep the soundcard. try selling it on craigslist.

Sell the Mobo+ cpu as a bundle and sell the rest seperatly thats what i did with my old pc you should make more money that way

That Laptop isnt going to cut it on bf2 get something with an ATI x1400/ Nvidia 7400 or above for any decent framerates on low/meduim
