Over clocking

Does anyone one have both of these products? How do I over clock them? what setting work for you?

First of all, you need good CPU cooling. Stock usually doesn't work well for quads, though dual cores may work great on stock. For Intel system, all you need to do is raise FSB clock and adjust FSB:RAM frequency ratio to keep RAM speed under normal range. I believe Alex already wrote a comprehensible guide on this board. Check that out first. If it doesn't get to 3.2GHz with slight voltage bump (0.05V), then something must be wrong.

I haven't written a guide yet. I am waiting until my new Q6600 G0 arrives today before I write one.

I have the thermalright ultima 90 which is excellent (if not a bit fiddly to install) but i have heard very good things above the one posted above.

The Xigmatek is good, i have one. However, stick with the slightly older revision, the HDT-S1283 (not the S1284). It's noted for being slightly better in tests, but not hugely so.

The Xigmatek is good, i have one. However, stick with the slightly older revision, the HDT-S1283 (not the S1284). It's noted for being slightly better in tests, but not hugely so.

The one i put there is not the S1284 its the SD964 because its 92mm rather than 120. I figured the 120 might be a little tight inside an elite case.
