A E7200 is beaten by the E6750 and E8200 though. (but also a lot cheaper!)

would either of these two be viable;

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 / 2.4 GHz

or

Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 / 3 GHz

I'd go for the Quad Core, were I in your position. DO NOT get an E6850 if you can get a Q6600 for the same price.
