Budget card + SLI/CF = fail.

Use that money and get a much better single card. Assuming you're getting the GDDR3 HD 3650, the cheapest one is $55. $110 will get you a 9600GT or a bring you very close to an 8800GT.

This is essentially an HTPC setup. M3A78-EMH is a micro-ATX board and should have limited OC potential.

Phenom x3 8450 is definitely not for gaming, and it is not very overclockable. I've heard people getting that to 2.6GHz, but that's it. Some people get 8650 to 2.9, and that's it. They can't go even higher because of low CPU-milti, and not even SB750 can help them. You'll regret if you get this one. 8450e may have some use, but I just don't see much use for 8450 and 8650 (and 8750 as well). A lot of those commercial system builders are pushing these CPUs because they got a lot of these CPUs cheaply from AMD.

I'm not familiar with Enermax PSUs. Alex may have better idea about that.

Maybe you would be better off with a fast Intel dual core?

And for PSUs, Corsair and PC Power & Cooling are good brands, I'm sure there's more, but those are the only 2 I'm sure about.

Corsair should be fine for him then, the prices on Corsair PSUs also seem to be a tiny bit cheaper.

May be that OCZ are just using their brandname on inferior PSUs, I don't know.

Would still recommend Corsair though.

PC Power & Cooling bought OCZ a few months ago, so obviously that has opened up an EU sales route.

Enermax is a very good company. The Pro 82+ is a good buy.

You should definately switch to an Intel platform.

I'd pick the 4870 over the GTX 260.

I would always go for a single card rather than 2 Sli/CF i got 2x8800GT and i regret it, drivers are s**t and the increase in performance isnt as much as you would like it to be with the amount of money you pay

The only dual card setup really worth getting at the moment is 2x HD 4850, which scale pretty well and can match a GTX280 for a much lower price.
