How about the Antec Fusion case, which would let you include it in the DVD/ VCR stack and AFAIK has a built in remote receiver?

i dont know why anyone would have an "allegiance" to a certain brand most competing companies will pump out stuff that is competitively good compared to the others

Same reason some people prefer one make of car to another.. As long as there is difference and choice you will always have one group of people prefer one thing to another group of people.. It's not a bad thing until it leads to pointless product bashing. However I'm just greedy and want all things ^.^

D= Noo My mum is buying eet!! I just had to talk her into it.. Well I didn't have to talk her into it i just plugged her laptop into the big screen and said "this would be cool with a good pc huh" lol But it will be useful being able to have all ur music, movies, internet as well as foxtel and normal tv all in one room.. And when she isn't looking CoD4 ^_^

The fact that your parents are paying for it isn't the point; it just seems a waste to be buying soo much tech stuff. Heck, just plug your existing PC in if it's that big a deal.

lol noo D= I have my own gaming pc.. and my step dad has his own with an 8800GT lol.. Mum has her laptop.. and now we are buying one for the house everyone can use it and we can copy movies to the 1TB hdd and watch them straight from the pc.. It will be cool ^_^

I still seem to think that $1000AUD if not US is a little high for just a media center.
