    E5**** + 4850 = quite a good rig imho Wizard, future proof wise, well hell we all have to upgrade its a never ending cycle, i know i will have to upgrade in 2yrs time.

        QFT. In 6 months, your rig is worth 75% of what you paid for it. In a year, half.

        As for the P35-DS3L, I think its a good motherboard. I just wanted to say that Gigabyte makes the same board with the P45. (P45-DS3L) It's $107 and that would be my choice for a good budget mobo. But if you can't get it the P35 version is still good as the 200+ reviewers will say.

          the P35 ( i have one IP35) is a good budget chip as Spark mentioned, the P45 cant remember i had this discussion in a thread, idk but i think the only difference was the USB slots and PCie2.0 not sure though i could be mistaken. In any case the P35/45 are good budget chips according to Spark.
