^^ Lol because I bet your system just runs oh so hot :p

I prefer to just spray the inside of my computer with a fire extinguisher every 30 min...Leave a comment:

Re: Alex is going watercooled
More like this: (in top down order)
pump
CPU GPU (use a y-connector to split flow)
(recombines with another y-connector) Radiators
back to reservoir
There is no point connecting radiator before entering things you want to cool. Radiators dissipate heat by blowing air through the finned tubes. The reason for parallel connection is to use coolest coolant out of the reservoir for all your components, so the heat carried out from CPU won't end up decreasing heat transfer from GPU.Leave a comment:

So, in words, draw me a diagram? You say
Pump > 2 x 120mm Rad > CPU > graphics card > 1 x 120mm Rad > pumpLeave a comment:

Re: Alex is going watercooled
Do not connect your device serially. Connect them in parallel. The radiators should be connected at the returning hose before return to reservoir.Originally posted by Alex98ukI'm planning on a double 120mm radiator and a single 120mm radiator after the CPU, but before a graphics card.Leave a comment:

Re: Alex is going watercooled
Water cooling can be done WAY CHEAPER if you know how to make your own parts, or get them from hardware supply.
One 12cm radiator is probably good for 250W. For your system, you need at least 500W. So two radiator panels with two 12cm fans.
However, there are funnier way (not necessarily cheaper) to do this heat exchange business.
I am still in the process of figuring out how to make a water-cooled PSU.Leave a comment:

Or you could do it on the cheap and dunk your PC in cooking oil.

hmm, i was thinking i might just point my Spotcool at it. I want to run 1.55v through it.Leave a comment:

Alex is going watercooled
Yes, you heard it here first folks, i'm taking the big jump into watercooling.
Since my case is huge, i will be doing all watercooling internal. I originally wanted to use a triple radiator, but without extreme modding, i couldn't mount that on my roof.
So, this is how it will work:
Pump > double 120mm rad > cpu > single 120 rad > northbridge > VRM > t-line/res > pump
The double rad will be on my roof with 4 fans in push pull config and a single rad on my rear exhaust fan.
***
I can't decide whether to watercool my graphics card though, or if three radiators will be enough for CPU, NB and GPU. Anyone got an idea?
Anyone got advice on parts?
Anyone got any experience or advice?

These are the parts i have come up with so far:
ThermoChill PA120.2
D-TEK FuZion v2 CPU Block
12V Laing D5 Vario/Swiftech MCP655 Pump
Black Ice GT Stealth 120
Yate Loon x 4
PrimoChill Black PVC Hose Clip 1/2" OD (10 Pack)
1/2" Clear High Flex Hose (XSPC)
Feser One Coolant 1ltr (UV Black)
XSPC Bay Reservoir - Clear
