    Liquid cooling system?

Anyone have any recommendations on liquid cooling, I have no idea which one or what to look for when buying water cooling. My preference is external cooling system and it should fit the LGA 775 socket CPU. My budget is $150-250

Something that will keep my system at 20-40 C

You can get a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme for $60 easily get those temps.

Watercooling is only useful when you reach an OCing wall due to heat. With Intel's Core series, heat has never been an issue. Air cooling these days is really good. Almost to the point where watercooling is useless.

But really, I say stick with air cooling. The extra money isn't worth the performance gain.

He always used to hate people being pre-made water cooling kits and preferred getting individual parts. Old time TBF2 IIRC.

Yea, i would suggest making your own, but Custom Pc magazine said this kit was just as good as a custom one at that price range, only reason i suggested it :)

From what I've read, it is better to use individual parts, but that takes lots of time for research. If you do decide to go watercooling and pre-configured, That Swiftech kit looks nice.

I still say an Ultra Extreme will be within 5C for hundreds less.

Wow! I'm suprised anyone still remembers me.

I no longer have my liquid cooled computer, and after everything I went through with it Iv'e learned it's not really worth it, unless you just want the experiance of doing it.

                        Xbox360 ;P

As for a computer, I no longer have one that is fit for any type of gaming (other than the occasional game of minesweeper).
