Liquid cooling system?

Re: Liquid cooling system?
Yeah, I'm, kind of disappointed in the direction PC gaming has gone and just decided to get more into consoles.
As for liquid cooling, yes it helps. But unless you're just into benchmarks then it's not worth it. Real world performance gain is minimal, and it's a royal PITA to do any hardware changes once you have all the tubing routed through your computer. It once literaly took me an hour to install a wireless card due to the routing of the tubing. It just got too much to deal with on a daily basis.
Looking back I'm glad I did it, just to be able to say I did it, but I wouldn't do it again. I'm not as knowlagable in PC hardware as I once was, but from what I hear now out of the C2Ds is that head is not the problem, so LC isn't really worth it.Comment

Re: Liquid cooling system?
It's not really PITA with a huge computer case like I have (Antec twelve hundred) installation was as easy as installing the standard fan on the CPU. Well I don't know you are able to OC more on liquid cooling then on air so that tells me something. I'm not really messy, all the cables are routed through the back panel and the tubing doesn't go near the the bottom of the case, so I see no problem installing additional components.Comment
