My friend is having a problem with his keyboard. It's a wireless microsoft multimedia keyboard and it looks like this:

The problem is that none of the keys work except two or three.
I have no clue what's wrong with it. It's very strange because the mouse and the keyboard came together and they both connect to a single receiver. The mouse works fine, but the keyboard doesn't. It's not a problem with the USB port because his ipod and other devices work in all the USB ports. What's also weird is that the F-lock key always works, but the calculator key will work only somtimes.
Other than that, all of the other keys stop working completely. He had this problem before, but whenever the keys would stop working he'd just switch to a different USB port. But after he put it into every USB port, they just all stopped working for the keyboard.
I've checked with google and other people have had this problem but the responses are all the same, saying to update the drivers but that doesn't work, so I thought I'd just see if anyone here knows what's going on.
ThankQ
