Hi everyone, I'm planning on building a new computer soon, and I need to ask a few questions about certain aspects before I start ordering the components. Apart from replacing my graphics card and adding more RAM, I've got no real experience when it comes to computers, so go easy on me :).
My budget is around £500 - £600, and here's a rough outline of what I've been thinking of, based entirely on what I've read on these forums:

- Cheap P-35 motherboard - £50
- Intel E2180 - £50 (Hopefully overclocked to ~ 3.0GHz)
- Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro - £15
- 2GB PC6400 RAM - £30
- Cheapest 9600GT I can find - £100 (Again, overclocked)
- Samsung Spinpoint F1 750GB - £75
- DVD-RW Drive - £20
- Antec P182 - £80
- Good ~600W PSU - ~£60
- Vista Home Premium 64 Bit - £70
That list comes to around £570 with P&P.
So my questions are:
- Cheap Intel C2D CPUs: E2160, E2180 & E2200. I know the clock speeds are different, but are there actually any physical differences between one another? Is there any point in spending the extra £10 on the E2200 when I'm overclocking anyway?
- Any compatibility issues? I plan on overclocking my CPU, will that speed RAM hold me back?
- Finally, are all those components good choices/value for money? I'm only playing BF2, CS:S and TF2, and the only game I'm exited about in the future is BF3. Also, the highest resolution I'm playing at is 1280 by 1024.
Only thing you need to be doing now is reading up on overclocking
