      Vista is now perfectly stable. I just think if you are paying money for an OS, Vista would have been a better option. 64bit in fact would be :awes

                              Do I have to apply my MX2 thermal paste although the stock cpu heatsink comes with a bit of paste pre applied ?

                                Wipe the stock stuff off...

                                Here is what some people suggest..Put a very thin line of the MX2 down the middle of the CPU then seat the HSF omntop and squish it on..For me though that has never worked..

                                I got a sandwhich bag(plastic) and put a little blobl right in the center...Then put the plastic bag over your finger and rub all over the CPU into a nice thin layer..That dropped my temps quite significantly...
