Well at least I was ingame for about 16 hours a day the last 2 weeks of my summerholidays. But also the computer had been running the whole summer.

Some part of your graphics card is overheating it could be an issue with dust or there could be a more serious problem like what happened with me

I had an unbranded Nvidia 7900gs and i had the same artificating errors the core and memory stayed cool but it was one of the voltage capacitors that was broken and kept overheating causing BSOD's, Crashes and artifacting there was no way i could fix this apart from taking one from another 7900gs card so in the end i had to buy a new card

Ok so you had the same problem with nearly the same card. I will probably sort this out next week when I have easter holidays and hopefully I wont need to buy a new card. Also a friend of mine is gonna be kind enough to bring his gfx card around so that I can see if its ok to play using his card. Then I will know for sure its something wrong with the card at least. :)
