Looks good. Remember to turn on Mic Boost in Windows.
Looking for a cool setup...

Ok well thanks. Also, I discovered my dad had a desktop mic all along and so we dug it out of the closet today and plugged it in. We did serveral mic tests in and out-of-game and we turned the microphone boost on and turned every microphone option that dealed with receiving and outgoing volume 100% but still, the mic proved to be useless and I had to talk really loud plus have my mouth literally on the end of the mic and people in-game still told me it was pretty quiet. I spent the last 2 hours trying to set it up and it's pretty depressing...
But, the mic has no label and my dad got it as his job for free so it's probably not good quality at all but I'm still going to go with a desktop mic but now I'm thinking to buy a cheap-ish headset that way if it doesn't work I'll have that...

Turn mic boost on. (It sounds like you haven't).

Well, actually I turned on both Windows mic boost and the mic boost under the 'voice' tab in the options in-game...

yeah it is.. i had a cheaper set of logitech ones and they seemed to hurt the tops of my ears.. these ones are alot better.. and the mic is good.. but it is only $70au so its not going to be the best.. but it works fine for me..

these r the ones i had before the new ones and their terrible! they hurt your ears after about 1-2 hours use.. try and get somthing that has good padding.. whats ur budget?
