    Is everything ok

Well my specs are in my profile on the side. I am running 1024 x 768 resolution. And my gfx card is AGP.
I play BF2 Project Reality and my fps ranges alot. My settings are on mediums except my look distance is 100%. My question is shouldn't my computer be able to handle better. I check my fps and sometimes its under 20 while I am sitting in the back of a car.

Thats my thread in the battlefield 2 forums.

My question is shouldn't my computer be able to run better? Is something not set up right?

Project reality uses much more memory than BF2 vanilla. Try cutting down the AA if it's enabled.

All settings are Medium but texture is High. View distance is 100% and AA is turned off.

Your processor could be limiting that card. It is by no means the best but the 2600XT can put out some serious power.

Also the higher your textures could affect slow gameplay

Like I said in the other thread, the drivers for the AGP 2600XT aren't very good, new ones are set to be released this month.

In the meantime, look at this site for tips on how to improve your performance in BF2:

Turn textures down to medium (or low), and turn geometry up to high. This means you'll get better performance, and your computer will render vehicles/enemies from further away (very useful, especially in PR).
