Beautiful card. I too am an EVGA guy but that card will get the job done. EVGA also has stepup so in 3 months you can trade your card in with a credit for the amount you bought it for for something better. I got an Ultra for 50 bucks : ) from a GTX of course.

I went a local computer store (Microcenter) to pick up the 8800GT, but after talking to couple of the people working there, they told me that my PC will not run this card because my CPU is too slow and 400 PSU isn't enough. They even said not to bother with the 8600GT or the GTS
Here is my PC specs:

AMD 3500+ 939 PIN
Chaintech Zenth VE, VNF4 Ultra mobo
2 gigs ram PC 3200
400w PSU (which I can upgrade)
6600GT PCIE

So looking at the above, can you guys plz recommend me video card that would run FFOW? I don't need to run it on all maxed out with AA on, I just need something decent that would run on my rig. FYI, Frontlines (FFOW) uses the Unreal engine.

Seconded; back at Christmas a guy in a computer store near me was trying to convince me that I should upgrade my 7300GT to a 7600GS... they're the same GPU but clocked at different speeds and with greater memory bandwidth on the latter... clearly worth the £50 he was selling it for.

About 2 years ago i bought a 6200 AGP for about £75 from PC world...Ahh back in the days when i didnt know the difference in pci-e and agp..lol i was a nublet

I heard of a guy who bought an AGP card then hacked off the extra connectors to make it fit his PCI-e port, before trying to RMA it.
