    Your opinion about this card

If you don't like this card (give a reason why of course), then plz suggest an alternative. Keep in mind that this card fits my budget (I can go up 230$ US.)

    Thank you for your time,

Looks really good. BTW, I have an MSI motherboard in my other desktop. Going on 4 years old now, and its never caused a problem.

          I really enjoy their products!

            excellent choice!
You might want to wait a while and see if you can find a better deal thought.

I think I saw an MSI (not sure if OC'd) on slickdeals on friday for like $190. That's a lot of saved cash. :)

Or just spend an extra $27 to get a better warranty from Evga : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130318

Its your choice for which brand :)

I have an EVGA GTX and <3 it. The card is good. Personally, I would go with EVGA, but MSI is good too.

Probably the best card you can get for that money. Go for it.

Thank you all for your input. My only concern is, I run an old mobo which uses a PCIE x16 slot (currently running a 6600GT), I am worried that the MSI card wont run on it :S

                            lol, why wouldnt it run?

That card uses a PCI-E x16 slot, so it will work. btw, what PSU do you have?

In one of the reviews on the MSI card, I saw this
Cons: Not able to use it with my board. It is a pci-e 2.0 card, which is supposed to be backwards compatible with any pci-e 1.0 or 1.1 boards. Mine, a Asus K8V-E Deluxe is one of the few that doesn't like this card. Not MSI's fault tho.
Granted I don't have the same MOBO, but that just makes me worried that's all.

                              Here is my PC spec:
                              3500+ AMD 939pin
                              2 gigs PC3200
                              400W Powersupply
                              6600GT PCIE
