dudes you say you would go and spend whole 5000?or wait for 9 series BECAUSE the prices will get lower when they come out?i can build an amazing system with 1500 of it?512 mb nvidia 8800 gts..q6600 quadcore 2.4 ghz 2x2 team pin 4gb ram vista ultimate 64 bit...not nice?Comment

But I'd still wait and see if getting a 9800 GX2 would be worth the extra $150-200

why dont you wait an see what the benchs are like 1st before telling people to wait, the card he has is from evga so he's entitled to the step-up program, so if its any good he could still get it.Comment

Well, if your planning on building a computer yourself and you don't know what a motherboard is, you probably want to hold off buying all this expensive stuff and do some homework.
I made my first build this past November and I put in many hours of research and watched a lot of videos on "how to build" before I even decided on components.
You can see my specs and minus the graphics card I paid less than $1,000 (US). At your age you should put 90% of that into a savings account or possibly a Roth IRA. But, it is your money so do what you wish.Comment

Aww the 9800GX2 will not be showcased at CeBit..Nvidia have told them not to showcase it..It will be released March 11th whilst the partners will receive reference cards about a week before the launch...
