G5 like some of the others above, its a great mouse just not as good as my old mx518 that i broke

G7 here. Advocate for wireless. I've had that for a year and a half and the batteries are still good. At least the mechanics in G7 are handled very well what comes to that.

I would say the mouse is the most biggest reason my gaming has improved dramatically. I came from balled ones.

and for fast scrolling you can disable the microgear :)

G7 here. awesome mouse. I wanted to get the G5 but mum said she wanted wireless. I don't notice any performance loss and its comfortable as hell.

I found that out last night, I bound it to fire weapon and I would just flick it and it would automaticly fire :) Also started messing with profiles and everything, the mouse is amazing so much easier to kill with me moving my palm and such as you said

G9, i was going to get the G5 because it was cheaper but there were none in stock.

I'm glad there wasn't tho, i much prefer the DPI buttons Positioning amongst other things.

It depends on your style. If we're talking gaming mice, we're talking Logitech's G Series, and Razer. (Unless you want Optical, the only Optical worth anything for gaming is the MX518 by Logitech)

Logitech's mice are very ergonomical. This means that they are basically engineered to be comfortable for long periods of time. If you do a lot of desktop work(MS Office, Excel, etc), and occasionally game, these mice are perfect. I absolutely love them.

Razer are strictly gaming mice. They're meant to be held with your fingertips, and held any other way, they will become insanely uncomfortable.

This is why the Razer's buttons are very large, and the side buttons are positioned far back. Your fingertips should be as far back on the buttons as possible, with your thumb on the side button closest to you, your middle finger just in reach of the scroll wheel, and your pinky finger on the side button closest to you. THIS is how you hold a Razer. Although you can adapt it anyway you like. I personally don't even use my middle finger on a mouse.

Guiding your mouse with your fingertips allows for quicker, more accurate, and less strenuous movements. The perfect gamers' mice for low and high sensitivity.

If you buy a laser mouser, make sure you get a mouse pad meant for laser mice. You'll be surprised at how smooth it is and how well it tracks.

Hold your mouse. Is your palm touching it? Go Logitech. If not, go Razer.

I, personally, use a Razer Copperhead. But go with whatever you'd prefer, and don't let anyone try to jump on you with their opinions.

i would go with Razer and Saitek and Logitech mouses! there the best i ever dealt with!

Lol some ppl that are attracted 2 the LEDs that light up the mouse 2 pay $50 more.......i do that myself :)
